CONTEST: Overdue.

Who is actually WORKING on an entry? If you need more than two weeks to finish, the contest is cancelled.

CONTEST THEME
"Depict your interpretation of what it would be like if the boys (generally referring to Soul, Black*Star, and our loved Death the Kid) were professional dancers."
This was a suggestion over a year ago now, and I found it again and this theme idea was pretty popular
Contest details are below. Please take the time to read it all; I don't just type a bunch of stuff for fun, it's often important

GUIDELINES
- The entry must be drawn digitally/traditionally, crafted and photographed, or cosplayed (there would be so much win with this type of entry).
*As far as cosplay goes, I'll have a max of SIX pictures allowed in one deviation, i.e. a collage of up to six pictures or a "comic strip" of up to six pictures with captions/other things typed/drawn on.
- I apologize, but written entries will not be accepted for this contest.
- Use of bases are not allowed either.
- Death the Kid MUST be present in your submission. Other characters are quite welcome, as long as DTK is the main focus of the submission.
*Remember, we ARE DeathTheKidClub!
- Please do not submit drawings on lined paper. These are unprofessional and messy; it also makes your artwork harder to make out.
*On this note, sketches, linearts, flat color, and finished works are all accepted. However, keep in mind that, in general, quality trumps content in these contests. Finished works will likely receive more votes!
- ONE ENTRY PER PERSON.
- Entries are to be submitted to the "Dancer Boys Contest 2014" folder, which can be found here. Please take note of this when submitting to the group.
(Please note that you are submitting to the correct folder in general while submitting.)

DEADLINES
BEGINNING TODAY: January 17, 2014
ENDS: MONDAY, MARCH 17, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. CST
- This means you have TWO MONTHS. Any submissions received after this day/time will be declined.
*However, if you are late to the deadline but still want to submit it to the group, we will be happy to accept it into the appropriate folder for the group's general gallery.

VOTING
- The winners will be decided by votes from the group members. The deviation with the most votes will win first place, and second-most wins second place. In the case of a tie, I will cast my vote to determine the winner.
- You are to NOTE ME, animerocks4, with your vote when the time comes.
*The subject of the note needs to say something along the lines of "Death the Kid Club Contest Vote."
*Include BOTH the title of the deviation AND the artist who submitted it in the content of the note.
*Do NOT simply comment on the journal. Such votes will be ignored. I believe votes should be cast "in secret" so that one's opinion cannot be swayed by other votes.
- If you participate, yes, you definitely can vote for the winner. However, you may not vote for yourself. I highly encourage all participants to be good sports and support their fellow artist by voting
- Voting will BEGIN on TUESDAY, MARCH 18, 2014 at 12:01 a.m. CST, and END on THURSDAY, MARCH 20, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. CST.
- Any votes received after this time will be null and void.

PRIZES
Prizes are always donations by YOU, the members! Please note me (animerocks4) OR comment here on the journal if you would like to donate a prize. (details below) You may both donate a prize AND enter the contest if you wish. We accept all kinds of prizes: Art requests, fanfics and drabbles, points, dA Premium Memberships, and maybe even custom, personalized journal skins if you have the tools to do so. Whatever you wanna give, we'll take it!
*Because they are pointless and tedious to keep track of, I won't be listing Llama Badges as prizes anymore. However, feel free to give them to fellow deviants and contest participants at your leisure!

- If you want to donate, you can either note me (animerocks4) or just leave a comment below on this journal entry saying what you'd like to donate. I'll determine to which place the prize will go based on what all we receive/the quality of what you want to donate. I.e. a sketch would likely go to second place, while a full-color request would likely go to first place.
